The fine print, made readable
Privacy Policy
Effective August 30, 2026
This policy explains how the Weird & Whatever Podcast website handles information when you visit, send evidence, submit music, or contact Vickie’s independent business, Point Paranormal.
Information you choose to provide
Depending on the form you use, we may receive:
- Your name, email address, location, availability, and time zone.
- Your story, message, song information, links, and other form responses.
- Photos, videos, audio recordings, artwork, or other files you attach.
- Your permissions, rights confirmations, and policy acknowledgements.
Please do not submit information or files you are not authorized to share.
How information is used
- To deliver your submission privately to the appropriate recipient.
- To review, respond to, schedule, or discuss your request.
- To evaluate evidence, stories, or music for possible use on the show and its channels.
- To protect the forms from spam, abuse, and security threats.
- To maintain and improve the website.
We do not sell personal information.
Private routing and independent services
Evidence and music submissions are delivered to the podcast’s private backroom inbox. Point Paranormal requests are delivered separately to Vickie. Point Paranormal is Vickie’s independent business, and its services are arranged separately from the podcast.
Service providers and outside platforms
Cloudflare hosts and secures the site, checks submissions for automated abuse, and delivers form emails. The site also embeds or links to services such as YouTube, Instagram, WRMF, and ART19. Those services apply their own privacy policies when you interact with them.
Privacy-friendly measurement
The site records aggregate counts for page views, outbound platform clicks, and successfully delivered forms. These measurements do not include names, email addresses, messages, attachment contents, or a cross-site advertising ID. The site does not use analytics cookies.
Retention, security, and your choices
Submissions may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to review, respond, document permissions, produce the show, resolve disputes, or meet legal and security obligations. No internet service can promise perfect security.
You may choose not to submit information. To ask about access, correction, or deletion, send a direct message to the official @weirdandwhatever Instagram account and identify your request as a privacy matter. Material already published with permission may not be fully retractable from third-party platforms or archives.
Age limitations and updates
The submission portals are intended for adults. A minor should submit only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. We may update this policy as the site and show evolve; the effective date above will identify the current version.
